 Today, in class, we continued working on the worksheet we had started on Tuesday about Columbus's wrongdoings and the lies about the first Thanksgiving. that is all we did in class since today is a short day for all classes since there will be a pep rally later today.

 Today in class we watched a PowerPoint on how explaining evidence is detrimental for the claim that you are making, we also worked on a worksheet about claims on Christopher Columbus along with that we read individually and article about Christopher Columbus and thanksgiving.

 Today, what we did in class was that we read together as a whole class talking about the Pros and Cons of standing for the Pledge of alliegence, talking about why we stand or why we do not stand at all for it

 Today, we worked on a worksheet about claims. On the sheet, we had to find claims about the topics we were given, figure out what types of claims they were, and write out an opposing claim to the original claim. That was the work given out and was worked on for the whole block period.

 Today we worked out of a vocabulary book and wrote 15 different words and definitions, then we had to write a sentence for each of the 15 words on a piece of paper to turn in to Mr. Rease along with the sentence sheet we had to answer 4 multiple choice questions. That was all we did in class today. 

 Today what we did in class was work on a work sheet about claims but I couldn't work on it at all because I had to remake the benchmark I missed on Wednesday. I did the benchmark for the entire class period.

 Today we continued with the claims paper we did yesterday about 1 sentence claims on many subjects. this time the prompts were Gender issues with school uniforms, Racial representation in media, and school policies on tracking students into different educational paths. we did this worksheet for the entire class period.
