 Today we worked out of a vocabulary book and wrote 15 different words and definitions, then we had to write a sentence for each of the 15 words on a piece of paper to turn in to Mr. Rease along with the sentence sheet we had to answer 4 multiple choice questions. That was all we did in class today.

Prompt response: As I have grown older, I realize now that the holidays have really changed much with me. Just like Christmas, when I was really young, I would always wish to Santa like many people did, but at somepoint we all find out that santa isnt real and that just happens in life. I appreciate Christmas just as much as I did when I was a kid, as it is a time for gift giving and joy for the whole family. Prompt Response:   After hearing the storymaps from other classmates the one that stood out to me was Orlandos. I liked the many pictures he put of his childhood, many other people didnt do that and its nice that he can include the tidbits like that to enhance the performance of such a presentation. Summary: The class presented storymaps. Reflection:   Many classmates of mine really do have different stories to tell, they went through different things than I have and that is a little bit surprising to me.

Prompt response: What life skills have I learned to eventually lead my life in the future after graduation? Certainly, the ability to speak in public crowds is a skill that everyone should really have as it can play an important role in deciding what job you can get and what life you can lead one day. What did we do in class? What we did in class was work on a newsela about whether the Bill of Rights is updated to the current standards of America. What can I reflect upon? I can reflect on my life in the future, It has been a real eye-opener if you decide to think about your future as you don't know what lies ahead of you in the future.
