Prompt Response: I spent my time doing something new, I am now trying to learn to play the piano. Initially it was hard and still is now, but trying it more and more makes it easier just by a little bit though. I can at least play with both hands now and at least that had to be progress.
Summary: Today, we read a poem by Maya Angelou and then wrote the many metaphors and similes found in the poem.
Reflection: Sometimes with practice doing stuff that you admire has got to be one of the better feelings as if you try hard enough you can do anything.

Prompt response: As I have grown older, I realize now that the holidays have really changed much with me. Just like Christmas, when I was really young, I would always wish to Santa like many people did, but at somepoint we all find out that santa isnt real and that just happens in life. I appreciate Christmas just as much as I did when I was a kid, as it is a time for gift giving and joy for the whole family. Write about your most special holiday memory.

 The most special holiday memory was when it was the year 2014, I remember that there was going to be 2 to 2 1/2 inches of snowfall and that had me pretty excited as it never really snowed in Georgia. What did we do today? We didn't do much all we had to do was read chapters 6-7 of A Lesson Before Dying and answer questions related to the book. What do I have to reflect on? Im not sure what to reflect on there hasn't been much to reflect on since I've been studying for finals but hopefully I can pass them all.
