Prompt response: For Christmas break, all I did was hang out with family all throughout the break, like going to my grandparents' farm. I hung out with all my friends during the break, and I enjoyed the time I had with all my friends and family.
Summary: Today, we worked on Writable, discussed the goals we are working on for the year.
Reflection: I hope that this year will be great, as this is my last semester of my year for me, and I hope I do well.


Goal 1. 

The first goal I hope to accomplish is ending procrastination. This goal is important because procrastinating on work will set you back far, and that is something that i do not intend on happening on my last year. To accomplish this goal, I will complete all work assigned to me during class, and if it is homework i will set aside all distractions to work on it first and I will complete all blog posts at the end of class.

Goal 2.

The second goal I hope to accomplish is to retain information I have learned more efficiently. This goal is important because if I can retain more information that I have learned on a specific subject, then I will be more knoledgeable in that subject/category. To accomplish this goal, I will take more notes more often and I will study on the same notes I have taken for about 20-30 minutes for 4 days out of the week.

Goal 3.

The third goal I hope to accomplish.is to try not to miss out on days of school.This goal may seem silly but I only want ot get this goal accomplished is to get exempted from many of the finals for the classes I am currently taking, last year I exempt all my finals but 4 and I hope that I can exempt all finals. To accomplish this goal I will get to school on time and I will try to cut down on days of absence like if I feel like there is no reason to be at a school that will happen no longer and the only time will ever be absent if I am sick.

Goal 4.

The last goal i hope to accomplish is to keep my grade at an all-time high. This goal is important along with the attendence for exemption, but also it is important for my GPA as If I have all my grades high then I will finish the year off with a bang. To accomplish this goal, I intend to study my notes that I have taken and use that retained information to help me understand subjects better and do all my work when needed.

Prompt response: As I have grown older, I realize now that the holidays have really changed much with me. Prompt response: My strength as a speaker is my ability to speak clearly and concisely. However, I sometimes stumble over my words when presenting. What did we do in class? Absent, sorry. What can I reflect on? Speaking in front of people has got to be hard, right? How does it feel to be a spokesperson for a major company? How do they do it? How do they have the courage to speak in front of a large crowd?

After hearing your classmates’ storymap presentations, choose one classmate’s story that stood out to you. Write about what you liked or learned from their journey and explain why it was meaningful to you.

Prompt Response:   After hearing the storymaps from other classmates the one that stood out to me was Orlandos. I liked the many pictures he put of his childhood, many other people didnt do that and its nice that he can include the tidbits like that to enhance the performance of such a presentation. Summary: The class presented storymaps. Reflection:   Many classmates of mine really do have different stories to tell, they went through different things than I have and that is a little bit surprising to me.
