You’ve been in Multicultural Literature for about 4.5 weeks. How has the class been going for you so far?

Prompt Response:  So far, my year has been good. The class isn't too bad, but we as a class have had much to work on, particularly projects. I feel like we are going to have many projects in class, and it just feels like a hassle to me, but I'll get used to it eventually.

Summary: Today, we are given the assignment of typing out 15 vocabulary words.

Reflection: I feel like the school year is going to harder than this. Its probably the amount of classes im taking but i dont know.

Prompt response: As I have grown older, I realize now that the holidays have really changed much with me. Just like Christmas, when I was really young, I would always wish to Santa like many people did, but at somepoint we all find out that santa isnt real and that just happens in life. I appreciate Christmas just as much as I did when I was a kid, as it is a time for gift giving and joy for the whole family. What do you think are your biggest strengths as a speaker? What challenges do you face when presenting in front of an audience?

Prompt response: My strength as a speaker is my ability to speak clearly and concisely. However, I sometimes stumble over my words when presenting. What did we do in class? Absent, sorry. What can I reflect on? Speaking in front of people has got to be hard, right? How does it feel to be a spokesperson for a major company? How do they do it? How do they have the courage to speak in front of a large crowd?

Prompt Response:   After hearing the storymaps from other classmates the one that stood out to me was Orlandos. I liked the many pictures he put of his childhood, many other people didnt do that and its nice that he can include the tidbits like that to enhance the performance of such a presentation. Summary: The class presented storymaps. Reflection:   Many classmates of mine really do have different stories to tell, they went through different things than I have and that is a little bit surprising to me.
