Reflection: I'll try to take what I learned today and try to apply it more to my life and my cultural heritage, and my identity. This poem can relate to many people, including me, as it sets an example for what to do in life.

Prompt Response:   About a year or two ago I had an uncle that had passed and the last thing that I heard him talking was a voicemail that was played for the whole family on Thanksgiving and it was him talking to one of my aunts telling her to hope she has a fun time over at thanksgiving. Summary: Today what was learned? Unfortunately we had a virtual day for school and what I did was my work for other classes and this class.  Reflection:   We did chapters 16-19 on A Lesson Before Dying. It can really show how a man can change over a period when he knows he is going to die soon and it feels so surreal as a heavy topic can be put into a book and make it feel very realistic.
