 Today we analyzed another poem from Emily Dickinson. We took notes in class and analyzed the poem's deeper meanings. What we wrote about the poem was about mental illness. Many aspects of the poem talk about how her brain was going through a "funeral". what it meant was that she had a mental disease saying how her mind was going numb and talking about the "Heavens".
