 Today, Mr Rease was absent so a substitute was in and we had to do a Newsela assignment while Mr. Rease was out. The Newsela assignment was about how turning to Google for medical advice can be harmful in some ways as they aren't getting examined by a real doctor to find out their symptoms, rather than that people will just consult google to get their advice there. The problem with this is that many people confuse their symptoms with other symptoms, leading to more mistakes than actually correcting the initial problem.

Prompt response: As I have grown older, I realize now that the holidays have really changed much with me. Prompt Response:   After hearing the storymaps from other classmates the one that stood out to me was Orlandos. I liked the many pictures he put of his childhood, many other people didnt do that and its nice that he can include the tidbits like that to enhance the performance of such a presentation. Summary: The class presented storymaps. Reflection:   Many classmates of mine really do have different stories to tell, they went through different things than I have and that is a little bit surprising to me.

Prompt response: What life skills have I learned to eventually lead my life in the future after graduation? Certainly, the ability to speak in public crowds is a skill that everyone should really have as it can play an important role in deciding what job you can get and what life you can lead one day. What did we do in class? What we did in class was work on a newsela about whether the Bill of Rights is updated to the current standards of America. What can I reflect upon? I can reflect on my life in the future, It has been a real eye-opener if you decide to think about your future as you don't know what lies ahead of you in the future.
