Reflect on a time when you discovered a new perspective that completely changed how you viewed a person, group, or place. How did your previous “single story” shape your thoughts or actions?

Prompt Response: At some point, I heard many stereotypes from many people to others and that really showed me that there are different stereotypes for a lot of different people, and it is real surprising because these stereoypes can change your views on people.

Summary: Today, in class, we worked on a CommonLit assignment that was given to us because Mr. Rease wasn't here.

Reflection: Stereotypes are present around the world everywhere and many of these stereotypes are often hurtful but somehow some of them can be good somehow?

In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.
