Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

Prompt Response: I used to draw, and still do,, but last year, I took a hiatus from drawing because I wanted to focus more on schoolwork than just drawing. I started to draw, again but the problem was that I could not draw at the same rate that I had before. If you take a hiatus from a hobby make sure you take time out of your start it, ack up or you'll be stuck try restarting it up without an effect.  Summary: What did we do in class? What we did was write down our vocabulary for chapter 9 and answer a 15-question worksheet using the vocabulary we learned. Reflection: These new words that I learned today are very interesting. Why are the words so big if they mean so little? Who knows why, All I know is that I can use these words one day, and when that day comes luckily I'll know how to use them.

Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.

Prompt Response:   If I choose a place that makes me feel most at peace I'd say actually being at home, why? I don't have to deal with the things in my life that worry and stress me out at home. I can just get rid of all that I have to worry about stuff as being schoolwork or actual work. Summary: Just like yesterday we had a virtual day and what we did today was chapters 20-22. Reflection:   I read chapters 20-22 and it felt weird how Jefferson can be interested and uninterested at the same time at Grants efforts to teach him to become a real man.

Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

Prompt Response:   About a year or two ago I had an uncle that had passed and the last thing that I heard him talking was a voicemail that was played for the whole family on Thanksgiving and it was him talking to one of my aunts telling her to hope she has a fun time over at thanksgiving. Summary: Today what was learned? Unfortunately we had a virtual day for school and what I did was my work for other classes and this class.  Reflection:   We did chapters 16-19 on A Lesson Before Dying. It can really show how a man can change over a period when he knows he is going to die soon and it feels so surreal as a heavy topic can be put into a book and make it feel very realistic.

Summarize your holiday break. In addition, write about 5 personal goals that you want to achieve in 2025. Explain why you chose those goals.

Prompt Response:  What I did for my holiday break was to stay at home and enjoy my time with my family as to me there is no point to go anywhere else. The 5 goals I have set out for my self are to pass all my classes, become more confident, speak out more, interact with more people, and make new friends. What did we do in class? Mr. Rease just talked to us about the rules of the classroom and the grading of students for the class period. What have I learned today? What I learned today is to try to stick to my goals for the remainder of 2025 and try to accomplish them for the rest of the year. I can use this knowledge to get ahead of my self and complete these goals as fast as I can.
